RL HYDRAULICS GmbH therefore has implemented technical and organizational measures which provide for the best possible protection of the personal data processed through this website. However, transferring personal data over the internet may basically not be free from gaps in security, which results in the fact that complete protection is not to be guaranteed. Therefore, you may choose to contact us any other way as an alternative.

Your Rights as a Data Subject
Your rights as a data subject are stipulated in Articles 15 to 22 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and cover the right to data access, deletion rectification, data transfer, restriction of data processing, the right to contradict a data processing and the right to not being made subject to fully automated decisions (such decisions, however do not take place at RL HYDRAULICS).

The same applies in case, you should have questions about how personal data is processed in our company or f you should wish to revoke consent. Moreover, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Right to Contradiction
Should we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you ae entitled to contradict this processing anytime and without having to name any reasons. The same applies to any profiling if such is related to direct marketing.
Should you contradict a data processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for such purposes. Contradiction is fee of charge, not bound by any form and may be addressed, at the best, to datenschutz@rl-hydraulics.com.
Should we process personal data basing on our prevailing interest, you are entitled to contradict such processing any time for reasons that result from your specific situation. The same applies to a profiling basing on these provisions.
In such case, we will no longer process your personal data, but if we can provide compulsory reasons for processing worth to be protected, which do not outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or if the processing uses to serve purposes of claims or legal defense.
Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing
We are processing your data to initiate business, to fulfill contractual and legal obligations, to execute contracts, to offer products and services and to strengthen the customer-relationship, which may include direct marketing. The legal basis, therefore, is a (potential) contractual relationship, Art. 6 I 1 b GDPR, respectively our legitimate and prevailing interest in processing your data, Art. 6 I 1 f GDPR. Such processing, however, is basing a previous objective balancing of interests. Conditions given, we may also process your data basing on your consent, Art. 6 I 1 a GDPR.
Transfer of Data to Third Parties
Your data will only be transferred to third parties with the boundaries of the law applying or if you have granted respective consent. The first aspect addresses the fact that your data is not transferred to third parties, if not we are obliged or entitled to do so by law (transfer of personal data to external bodies, such as e.g. public prosecution agencies or supervisory authorities). We allow to mention, that being a part of TIMKEN, we may basically transfer your data to further group companies if the underlying legal relationship or inter-group administrative requirements are requiring such or if we are legally obliged to do so.
Data Recipients/ Categories of Data Recipients
Within our company, we safeguard that only the persons who require your personal data for contractual or legal purposes may access your personal data. Should service providers support our company departments, the data protection agreements required have been entered into.
Transfer of Data to Third Countries / Intent to transfer Data to Third Countries
Your data is only transferred to third countries (outside the European Union, respectively the European Economic Area) to the extent required for contractual or legal obligations or in cases for which you have granted your consent. Concerning data transfers within TIMKEN group we kindly ask you to take notice of this Privacy Statement´s Section on “Transfer of Data to Third Parties” – your data may be transferred to group companies within third countries outside the EU or the European Economic Area, which may include a transfer to the USA.
Data Retention
Your data is stored as long as it is required for the respectively underlying purpose of processing. Please consider, that several retention obligations are requiring us to keep your data beyond his moment, where these obligations especially originate from commercial law or the law of duties (e.g. Commercial Code, Code of Duties, etc.). As soon as the purpose of processing is fulfilled and no further retention obligation applies, your data is deleted.
Besides that, we may be entitled to further store your data in case you have granted your respective Consent or if there is a legal dispute present where we may use the data as evidence within the statutory periods defined – these may run for up to thirty years; the regular statutory retention is three years.
Safe Transfer of Data
To best possible protect the data we process against incidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons, we have implemented according technical and organizational safety measures. The security level is permanently assessed in cooperation with security experts and adjusted to current standards.
The transfer of data to our website is encrypted. The transfer protocol used is HTTPS with current encryption protocols.

Our website offers a contact form, which may be used for contacting us electronically. If you send us a message through the contact form, we will process your data zo answer your request.
Here, the data minimization principle is adhered to, as only the data e objectively need must be provided on a mandatory basis. That is your name, surname, salutation, e-mail-address and the message itself. For reasons of technical and legal security, your IP-address is processed in addition.
Should you decide to turn to us sending an e-mail, we will process the data you provide by e-mail solely to answer your request.
